HOMELESSNESS

is the nation's most misunderstood crisis

Almost 60,000 families with children (57,971) are homeless on any given night in the United States, according to the 2019 federal Point-in-Time count.

Warm Hearts and Homes was organized to assist families transitioning into permanent housing from an emergency shelter by helping them get a jump-start on building their new home. Oftentimes, families end up in emergency shelters as a result of abuse, economic hardships, health burdens, or natural devastations. Whatever the cause is, every family deserves a cozy home.

Our Impact

Giving plays a crucial role in combating recurring homelessness

Since 2015, WHH has evolved as an organization transitioning from providing furniture to families and individuals transitioning from the emergency shelter to providing more services to help them maintain and sustain their homes. We have taken the collaborative approach to work with small businesses and established organizations to fill in the gap in terms of needs unaddressed. Our relationship with the community, public officials, and emergency shelters have helped us carve out a niche where our services can bring added value to the resources already available to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
