Available Opportunities

The board of directors is the governing body of a nonprofit. Individuals who sit on the board are responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities. Board members meet periodically to discuss and vote on the affairs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine the organization’s mission and purposes
  • Select the executive staff through an appropriate process
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance for the executive; review his/her performance
  • Ensure effective organizational planning
  • Ensure adequate resources
  • Manage resources effectively (the buck stops with them, ultimately)
  • Determine and monitor the organization’s programs and services
  • Enhance the organization’s public image
  • Serve as a court of appeal for unresolved issues or complaints
  • Assess its own performance

The business development team works to improve an organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. Their primary role is to seek new funding sources by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential partners and donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with management team to identify and evaluate market and potential partners
  • Work with management team to develop and implement strategic fundraising initiatives
  • Identify and evaluate specific new profitable business opportunities
  • Identify and achieve fundraising goals and assess overall company target
  • Initiate and complete proposals and presentation for new business opportunities
  • Work with finance team to assess and capture effectiveness of overall business and partnerships
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with existing and potential partners and donors

The administrative support team performs high-level office support duties and provides specialized program support for our ongoing initiatives. The Administrative Support team perform a wide variety of administrative duties ranging from general clerical support to complex administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and initiate inquiries
  • Prepare presentation materials
  • Compose and/or prepare correspondence, memoranda, promotional materials, forms, newsletters, manuals, and reports
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for Directors and other management
  • Assist with grant proposals
  • Perform specialized administrative duties required to support program
  • Arrange and coordinate travel and travel reimbursement for staff
  • Take and prepare minutes of meetings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain office supply orders and inventories.
  • Provides courteous, high quality service to members of the public
  • Perform other administrative duties as required to support the mission and function of the unit

The creative design team evaluates and designs interior living spaces to make them functional, appealing, and well suited to an owner’s needs. The creative design team develops a detailed plan, addressing a number of considerations, including color schemes, furnishing styles, materials and placement of specific items, while making sure to remain within budgetary constraints.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and lead meetings with clients and members of the design team
  • Provides consulting services to help determine overall project goals and objectives
  • Evaluates and recommends ideas for the functional and aesthetic possibilities of a space
  • Creates illustrations and renderings for interior concepts.
  • Develops CAD conceptual drawings to help the client visualize the end result.
  • Allocates, organizes, and arranges a space to suit its function; provides furniture layouts.
  • Selects and specifies fixtures, furnishings, products, materials and colors.
  • Procures furnishings, accessories and the like.
  • Installs furnishings and accessories in a client’s home.
  • Works with the design team to come up with solutions when issues arise.

The marketing team is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies. Their responsibilities include developing and executing new concepts, business models, channels, and partners to position the organization as an innovator and leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan marketing and branding objectives
  • Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
  • Prepare and adhere to budgets
  • Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials
  • Ensure brand messages are consistent
  • Gather and analyze customer insight
  • Engage consumers on social media
  • Deepen relationships with all media to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning of the organization
  • Lead all areas of content generation and production across all media platforms.
  • Drive overall CRM and direct marketing
  • Engage other organizations within the community.
  • Collaborate with sales and sourcing to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities
