Homelessness is a problem that has proven solutions, and giving plays a crucial role in combating it.
Our Story
Warm Hearts & Home started off as a New Year’s resolution to be more productive and impactful in the years to come. Usually, I would commit to these superficial sacrifices that almost never happened-- I was at a point in my life that I wanted to hold myself accountable for doing some good in my community. When I decided to help the homeless, I hadn’t discovered the exact reason why I chose to make an impact in that area, but after losing my father in 2014 the purpose became clear.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide basic necessities, soft furnishing, and decor to individuals and families experiencing homelessness through wish granting. We understand how tough it is to furnish a house- especially when financial obligations are priority- so we want to help by creating a dream housewarming experience. Our resources are available to ensure that once permanent housing is received, adults are stable, comfortable and excited to build a better future.
Our vision is to see individuals and families experiencing homelessness regain stability through employment, housing, and critical programming. Our goal is to work with community partners, healthcare providers, case managers, and family members to collaboratively provide wrap-around services and support for vulnerable individuals to prevent recurring homelessness.
